Dr. Donald Wolcott is President and Chief Executive Officer of Heights Energy LLC. He is an expert in both the theory and practice of petroleum engineering. Among other executive roles, Wolcott served as Deputy CEO Development and Production (from 2013 to 2015) and as Director (from 2018 to 2022) for Irkutsk Oil Company, as CEO (from 2016 to 2017) for Petroceltic Oil & Gas Co, and as CEO (from 2006 to 2013) for Ruspetro PLC, where he oversaw a successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange. Before that, Wolcott served as Senior Vice President of Production and Development (from 1999 to 2005) for YUKOS Oil Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations for 16,000 wells and achieved an increase in production from 800,000 BOPD to 1,7000,000 BOPD.

 

Wolcott also holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He has published numerous papers on hydraulic fracturing and field development and a leading textbook on the method of waterflooding.
